PHLEGM v8 Checkpoint 16 - CFG ZIP path flattening
Source: PHLEGM v8 Checkpoint 15 SuperPET-Dongle.

Defect: End-User packaging copies cfg/ into the payload cfg/ directory after
copying PHLEGM.master.phlegm. Because the destination cfg/ already exists,
PowerShell nests the directory at cfg/cfg/, breaking machine discovery.

Correction: Stage CFG source FILES by relative path into payload/cfg/.
Expected end-user archive member: PHLEGM v8/cfg/machine/commodore/
SuperPET-9000/machine.config.phlegm (not PHLEGM v8/cfg/cfg/machine/...).
Verification: reject cfg/cfg/ anywhere in End-User ZIP; confirm all source
CFG paths are present directly with the single cfg/ prefix.
Live clone: previous cfg/cfg/ tree moved into logs/cfg-nested-recovery/
with all original files preserved; cfg/ is updated from developer source.
Online ZIP sync already joins the archive's cfg/ relative member against
the executable root; that code was not changed.

Validation: Python static packaging/ZIP simulation and CRLF checks.
Native compilation, PowerShell execution, and SuperPET boot not tested.
